Independent e-commerce project
JuiceCup. From idea to live store.
Before my degree, I built and ran a Shopify store for a portable blender. I connected the brand, page design and copy with paid social and customer service.

01 / Positioning & identity
Give the product a reason to matter.
A single-product store had to explain the benefit and earn trust for a first purchase. I positioned the blender around active, mobile routines.
Fresh drinks. Anytime. Anywhere.
Bold headlines, fruit imagery and wave elements made that promise tangible. Orange, navy and white connected the store and social creatives through a shared, summery identity.

02 / Inside the store
Design around the customer's questions.
Three decisions from the store. Each connects a customer's question with a choice in copy or page structure.
The thinking behind the page
The product promise, purchase options and return information each answer a different question behind a first purchase.

Lead with the reason to care.
I connected a direct product benefit with vivid fruit imagery and an everyday use case. Together, the headline, image and supporting copy explain why the blender could fit a mobile routine.
Each element has a job: name the benefit, make it tangible and connect it to daily life.

Keep the next step together.
I grouped price, colour, quantity and purchase actions in one readable area, keeping the choices needed to place an order together.
One purchase block connects what it costs, what to choose and how to order.

Portfolio analysis summarising the archived store’s return policy.
Answer the hesitation, too.
I included the 30-day return window and its conditions in the FAQ, answering a practical purchase concern within the shopping experience.
The reassurance comes with clear limits: when a return is possible and in what condition.
03 / The shopping experience
Two pages. One connected experience.
I built the layouts and wrote the copy for both pages. The homepage introduces the product; the product page brings the buying decision into focus.
Scroll inside either screen to explore the archived page, or enlarge it for a closer look.

Explain the value.
Product promise, benefits and explanations establish what the blender offers and why it could fit an everyday routine.

Support the choice.
Purchase options sit alongside product information, with return and warranty details addressing questions before checkout.

04 / Launch & ownership
I built it. I ran it.

I launched and operated the store independently in 2021–2022, taking responsibility for the brand, the shopping experience and the communication around it.
- Brand & store
- Product positioning, visual identity, Shopify build, page design and copy.
- Paid social
- Campaigns and creative tests, carrying the store's product promise into the feed.
- Customer communication
- Customer service alongside the store and marketing work.
05 / Looking back
Connect the whole journey earlier.
Today, I would define the brand position and full customer journey earlier, before refining individual pages and ad creatives.
This project gave me practical experience connecting positioning, copy and design with the responsibility of running a store.
